Summary of Press Conference
This was the first scene we shot, and the shooting went well, we explored a wide range of props in our scene and created our own set. While creating the set we explored a discussion to gather idea's what the set should look like, the summary of the discussion decided that the set should look formal such as other press conferences. Changes we explored in the final shot was changes of the dialogue, to make the scene more realistic compared to the dialogue we entered in the script. We explored two different shot's, an extended mid shot and an extended close up as we couldn't decide which camera angle looked better, in the end we decided to use the mid shot.
Summary of Interview
This was the final shooting of our clip, the scene was shot outside as the weather was good for shooting, therefore why the scene's date of shooting was changed. The shot explored different camera angles such as a pan shot, which may be cut out to overcome the two minute clip. As well we explored an extended tracking shot to highlight the interview structure and questions being asked. The shooting explored a few errors therefore a few outtakes.
Summary of Falling Tower
This was the shortest filming section in our clip, but yet debatably the hardest scene to shoot as we explored many camera angles to get a good view of the tower falling over, but yet exploring a wide range of camera angles and resetting the Jenga tower was time consuming. We explored a wide range of close up's at different angle before gathering a perfect angle which explores the tower falling over directly infront of the camera.
Summary of Outside Conversation
We explored many changes in this scene to adapt to a better final shot. We changed the order of this scene to adapt to the weather, as to do the Interview we needed to record during good weather so we changed the order of the shooting schedule. We also improvised during shooting as a postman was about to disturb the recording, so I improvised and added him to the recording, which ended up being a final scene as it adds a comical value. Finally we edited the dialogue in the script again to add a realistic element into the the scene compared to the original script. The shooting went well but their was many outtakes and the weather kept changing therefore changing the quality of the shooting. In a final summary the shooting went well and the unexpected element of an added actor ended up to be our final scene.
