Editing Film Footage Part I

Once we finished filming our scenes, we had to upload the footage onto an Apple Macintosh computer and use the IMovie software that is already already installed on the system. Once we uploaded all the footage, we had to select the best quality footage from each scene that we filmed. In some cases, we had to choose the best possible footage we had and edit the fottage together with another footage we filmed to make it better. However, this was difficult as each different takes was slightly different so it involved very careful editing. We also had to make sure that each section matched up to eliminate any continuity that may occur. Once all the footage that we wanted was of best quality, the time of all the footgate came to about 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Unfortunately, this is too long so we had to cut some sections of footage down in order to come closer to the 2 minute mark, which our brief states.
